The Tir-440 drilling rig features a large mast with a feed stroke of 6100 mm, capable of working with drill pipes with a length of 6000 mm. The drill allows you to drill both vertical and inclined wells in various ways: core drilling (with flushing and dry), auger drilling, air hammer drilling, roller cutter drilling. It is possible to work in rocks with different hardness categories, from 1 to 12, and in a wide temperature range.

The professional drilling rig Tir-440 is designed for drilling geophysical and structural exploration wells for oil and gas, exploration of deposits of solid minerals, building materials and groundwater, geotechnical surveys, drilling water intakes and for explosive drilling. Drilling is carried out using a rotary method with flushing or blowing the well, or with augers.

A hydraulically driven head/rotator moving along the mast is used in drilling, extending the drilling tool without separating from the bottom and together with the hydraulic elevator performs the work of lowering (lifting) drilling rods/bars and feeding them during drilling. The rotator moves along the mast using a hydraulic cylinder and a movable system.
The control of the drilling platform is fully hydraulic and concentrated on the console of the drilling platform from a control panel. The control panel contains control devices and regulators of the rotation force, the feed and lifting speed, as well as the speed of the rotator spindle.
